- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and a unique device identifier (FCM token) used only to send push notifications.
- Files & Images: Profile photos or documents you voluntarily upload (stored securely in Firebase Storage).
2. How We Use Your Information
- To authenticate and manage your student account.
- To display your academic results, attendance, and notices.
- To send push notifications about important announcements, exam schedules, and results.
- To improve app performance and fix issues.
3. Data Storage and Security
All data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore, Firebase Storage, and Firebase Authentication), which complies with industry-standard security practices. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Access to data is restricted to authorised APTC administrators only.
4. Push Notifications
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to send push notifications. Your device token is used solely for delivering notifications and is never shared with third parties. You can disable notifications at any time from your device settings.
5. Children's Privacy
The APTC Student Portal may be used by students under the age of 13 under the supervision and with the consent of a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without parental consent. If you believe a child has provided us data without consent, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

This app uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
- Google Firebase – Authentication, Database, Storage, Messaging
